Job role: Expert in AI/NLP/ML

Rate: 425-450€/day

DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

·         Development and maintenance of AI solutions, including software applications integrating AI (NLP, Machine Learning, Generative AI).

·         Design and implementation of IT architecture for AI solutions, selecting appropriate AI components, techniques, and models using modern AI and IT architecture practices.

·         Presentation of AI solution blueprints to technical and business audiences.

·         Moderation of technical and business discussions and collection of relevant feedback.

·         Support the implementation of best practices for data, master data, metadata management, and modern MLOps.

·         Training of custom machine learning and deep learning models (including transformer-based architectures) using structured and unstructured data.

·         Independent development, testing, documentation, and integration of AI/ML components within larger service-oriented architectures.

Knowledge and Skills

·         Excellent knowledge of Python and core AI/ML/NLP libraries and frameworks (pandas, OpenAI, spaCy, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, scikit-learn, NLTK).

·         Strong experience with modern data management and data engineering techniques, including data pipelines, metadata and model versioning.

·         Excellent knowledge of data management.

·         Knowledge of query languages such as SQL, Hive, and Pig.

·         Knowledge of information extraction techniques.

·         Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.).

·         Knowledge of data visualization tools (D3.js, GGplot).

·         Practical knowledge of modern software engineering and DevOps practices (Git workflows, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

·         Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) for deployment, scaling, and security of AI solutions.

·         Good knowledge of Linux.

·         Good knowledge of Unix and Bash.

·         Good knowledge of NLP systems lifecycle.

·         Good knowledge of agile software development methodologies.

·         Good knowledge of quality assurance and quality control for machine translation, including automatic metrics (e.g., BLEU) and human evaluation.

·         Experience with data analytics over big datasets, unstructured databases, and data lakes.

Specific Expertise

·         Proven experience with advanced AI/ML techniques in production environments, including:

• Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Generative AI architectures

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• Agentic workflows (OpenAI, LangChain, CrewAI)

• Function calling and MCP

• Traditional machine learning algorithms

·         Strong experience with relational and NoSQL database integration (SQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Cassandra).

·         Expertise in modern MLOps practices.

·         Experience with ethical and legal implications of AI systems in enterprise or public sector contexts.

·         Experience in corpus-based linguistics.

·         Experience with alignment models and classification methods.

·         Strong experience with cloud-based AI solution deployment and operations.

·         Experience using enterprise and collaboration tools (MS Teams, IntelliJ, Jira, Enterprise Architect).

·         Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile and PM².
