Job role: Senior Operations Support Engineer.
Minimum experience: 7 to 10 years (at least 3 years in a senior role).

DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Operations Support Engineer (L2) ensures the stability, continuity, and reliability of production environments by leading complex operational support activities. The role focuses on rapid incident and problem resolution, service continuity, and the implementation of proactive operational improvements. It requires strong ITIL expertise, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and deep experience in observability, automation, and cloud‑native/containerized ecosystems. The engineer also ensures compliance with service levels and reporting obligations defined by the Contracting Authority.
Tasks:
· Lead and resolve high‑severity incidents, ensuring rapid service restoration and minimal disruption to operations.
· Conduct root‑cause analyses and define corrective/preventive actions following incidents.
· Define, improve, and maintain monitoring and observability strategies across systems.
· Establish performance baselines and ensure systems operate within expected thresholds.
· Implement preventive maintenance initiatives to reduce recurring issues and enhance system stability.
· Ensure compliance with incident and problem management SLAs, including contract‑defined reporting requirements.
· Support continuous operational improvements, automation, and optimization of production environments.
Technical skills:
· Strong expertise in ITIL processes and service management best practices.
· Advanced knowledge of observability (monitoring, alerting, logging).
· Experience with automation tools and practices for operational efficiency.
· Deep understanding of containerized and cloud‑native environments.
· 7–10 years in operations, including 3+ years in a senior engineering role.
· Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience handling high‑severity incidents.
Language:
· English (C1).

Rate:
· 315-335€/day.
