Job role: Enterprise Architect.
Minimum experience: 15 years of IT professional experience.
Studies required: Master’s Degree in a related field.

DESCRIPTION:
The role is responsible for creating business architecture models aligned with the organisation’s strategies and goals, integrating project and programme strategies, and ensuring alignment with business priorities. It contributes to the creation and implementation of a business vision and multi‑year plan, supports IT system rationalisation, corporate governance processes, and project, programme, and portfolio management frameworks. The position coordinates the EPMO function, supports digital transformation activities, contributes to enterprise architecture and governance requests, and provides guidance on business architecture and systems processing. It also conducts analyses to support organisational improvement and facilitates stakeholder engagement.
Tasks:
· Create business architecture models that reflect the organisation’s strategies and goals.
· Integrate project and programme strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies, drivers, and management priorities.
· Create and implement a business vision and multi‑year plan.
· Support the rationalisation of IT systems.
· Support the management of corporate governance processes.
· Support the development and operation of project, programme, and portfolio management frameworks.
· Coordinate the EPMO function and provide effective leadership to analysts or architects under his/her coordination.
· Coordinate and contribute to briefing production in the digital transformation area.
· Coordinate contributions to corporate requests in the EA and EPMO areas.
· Contribute to the delivery of the Digital Transformation strategy for DG GROW.
· Contribute to the DRPM processes of GROW.B3.
· Contribute to the application of the principles of the new EC Digital Strategy in DG GROW.
· Conduct cost–benefit analyses.
· Conduct As‑Is and To‑Be situation analysis and gap analysis.
· Prepare and moderate meetings with different levels of stakeholders.
· Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance.
· Conduct research to identify ways to improve organisational processes.
Specific Expertise:
· Minimum 13 years of experience with project, programme, and portfolio management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, PM2, MSP, MoP).
· Minimum 10 years of experience in software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile).
· Minimum 8 years of experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA).
· Minimum 8 years of experience in IT governance.
· Experience contributing to and coordinating briefings in the digital area.
· Experience managing corporate governance processes.
· Some experience with Enterprise Architecture modelling (e.g. BPMN, UML).
· Experience in cost–benefit analysis or As‑Is / To‑Be / Gap analysis.
· Experience in team coordination.
· Experience in consulting.
· Experience managing stakeholders and business representatives.
· Experience in the realisation of studies.
· Enterprise architecture frameworks, notations, and tools.
· Project, programme, and portfolio management (strong).
· Digital governance.
· Information systems lifecycle (strong).
· Software development process (strong).
· Service and operations management.
· Ability to follow and interpret internal corporate procedures and standards.
