Printing Specialist (Warsaw, on-site) – EU Public Institutions

Profile: Printing Specialist (Modern digital workplace, printing (eg. Canon UniFlow, HP WebJetAdmin, Microsoft Universal Print etc.: may change over the time) - Level Standard.

Place of performance: Frontex Headquarters in Warsaw (100% on-site).

Duration of the mission: 50 months.

Security Clearance: CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL.

Minimum level of education: Level 4.

English language skills (CEFR): B2.

Minimum IT relevant experience: 4 years (2 years in relevant/similar IT roles).

Award Criteria: 50% Quality / 50% Price (Minimum required scoring for interview: 70%.).

Rate: 198-208€/day (NWH); 261-271€/day (EWH); 3,8€/hour OnC.

· NWH: 220 days x 3 years + 260 days 4 years.

· EWH: 20 days x 3 years + 25 days 4 years.

· OnC: 1530h x 3 years + 1850 4 years.

Knowledge and skills:

· Excellent practical knowledge of enterprise-class printing solutions (hardware and software).

· Experience in large-scale design, deployment, administration, maintenance and support of enterprise printing solutions.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to create and maintain solution documentation.

· Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

· High sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail.

· Service-oriented attitude with a cooperative and supportive personality.

· Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

· High level of motivation and initiative.

Specific expertise:

· Excellent knowledge and practical experience with Uniflow.

· Practical experience with toners stock management.

· Experience with ID card printers and thermal printers.

· Excellent knowledge and practical experience with HP Web Jetadmin (administration).

Tasks and responsibilities:

· End-to-end management of large-scale printing solutions across the full lifecycle of the printing service.

· Daily administration of the printing service.

· Monitoring and ensuring availability and performance of printing services.

· Troubleshooting incidents and resolving issues related to printing systems.

· Providing user support for daily printing operations.

· Maintaining up-to-date documentation, including policies, SOPs, technical manuals and knowledge base articles.

· Proposing, advising and implementing improvements, upgrades and configuration changes to enhance service performance, usability and security.

· Following technological trends and ensuring modernisation of the printing environment.

· Performing any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Travel: By default, travelling in the interest of service is not foreseen for this position/profile.

· Nevertheless, Frontex may exceptionally request to carry out some services at other locations than Frontex Headquarters or other Contracting Authority’s premises.
