Profile: Modern Endpoint Management Expert (MEME).
Security Clearance: EU SECRET required.
Place of performance: Frontex Headquarters in Warsaw. (30% onsite + 70% remote). Candidates must be based in Poland.
Duration of the mission: 50 months.
Minimum level of education: Level 6.
Minimum English language skills (CEFR): B2.
Minimum IT relevant professional experience (years): 8.
Minimum experience at similar position (years): 5.
Award Criteria: 50% Price / 50% Quality (minimum required scoring for interview 60%).
Rate: The rate offered depends on the candidate’s level, in accordance with the Frontex’s public grading system. Further details are available upon discusión.
· NWH: 220days x3 years + 260days 4th year.
· EWH: 12days x3 years + 14days 4th year.
· OnC: 2032h x 3 years + 2370 4th year.
Required cerificates:
At least 1 certifications below:
· Microsoft 365 Certified- Administrator Expert or an equivalent certification or 5 year’s experience in at similar position above required minimum experience at similar position.
· Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate or an equivalent certification supported by 3 year’s experience in at similar position above required minimum experience at similar position.
· Each equivalent certification must be recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority).
Knowledge and skills:
· Thorough knowledge of centralized management of the Modern Endpoint Management solutions: Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager/SCCM, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365 Apps configuration and deployment, EntraID.
· Experience and excellent knowledge of Windows client Operating System.
· Experience and excellent knowledge in IT end users' infrastructure
· Experience and excellent knowledge in Windows Autopilot deployment and troubleshooting.
· Experience and excellent knowledge in Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM).
· Experience and excellent knowledge of IT security standards.
· Solid scripting skills in PowerShell.
· Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP networking and related services.
· Excellent knowledge in monitoring workstations.
· Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL based change management, configuration management and release management processes.
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting knowledge.
Specific expertise
· Management and deployment of 2Pint software.
· Knowledge of PatchMyPC.
· Knowledge of Tiering model infrastructure.
Typical tasks and responsibilities
· Centralized management of the large-scale workstation environment (where the number of physical and virtual workstations is counted in thousands).
· Daily workstations environment administration (management, monitoring, troubleshooting).
· Planning and preparing distribution of operating system images.
· Planning and preparing distribution of patches.
· Planning and preparing distribution of applications.
· Planning and preparing distribution of GPO/Intune configuration profiles/CSP/OMA-URI.
· Performing scripting and configurations distribution.
· Troubleshooting workstation configuration issues in cooperation with other ICT working groups and/or our vendor (Microsoft).
· Enforcing and monitoring application of the security policies.
· Reporting on the configuration standard(s) enforcement and compliance status.
· Advising, proposing and implementing proposing possible configuration improvements, changes or upgrades.
· Other specific duties as assigned by supervisor.
· Creating, testing and distributing applications and packages.
· Monitoring the lifecycle of deployed business applications (licence renewal, applying product updates).
· Monitoring the correct deployment of application in our end-users’ workstations.
· Troubleshooting application installation issues.
· Creating new technical documentation for DIG internal use related with Modern Endpoint deployment and configuration.
· Creating new Modern Endpoint related how-to documentation and manuals for our end users.
· Updating the existing documentation to reflect updates and changes.
Travel: By default, travelling in the interest of service is not foreseen for this position/profile.
· Nevertheless, Frontex may exceptionally request to carry out some services at other locations than Frontex Headquarters or other Contracting Authority’s premises.
