Description:
The service will be responsible of the operations, upgrades and maintains PeopleSoft applications (Financial, PC, CA and CM modules) and lead on projects to architect, implement, enhance, and test PeopleSoft systems and applications to meet dynamic business needs.
It’s a technical service, the main skills required are technical. Functional knowledge is a plus, but not he the main skill.
The serviece will participate into the delivery of the PeopleSoft product. The service wil collaborate with a Scrum squad alongside with SMEs like IT product Owner, Tech lead, developers and DBA to design, develop, and deploy large-scale enterprise solutions all while learning and growing his skill set. He builds, runs, and fixes the product. Testing, training, and post deployment support are part of the service.
Some of the main responsibilities of the service are:
• Incident & Change Management tickets for PeopleSoft Finance Business As Usual activities.
• Problem management tickets for recurring incidents for permanent solution
• Servers monitoring.
• Patching (Java, Tuxedo, web logic) as per Oracle recommendations.
• Manage production and obsolescence of the product.
• Participate in the agile ceremonies with active involvement in estimates, review, continuous improvement.
Responsibilities of the service:
• Provides expert troubleshooting for isolating technical problems in the PeopleSoft Architecture including Oracle database, Tuxedo, and Weblogic application.
• Builds, configures, debug and support PeopleSoft applications in a multi-instance multi-network environment.
• Supports the development and testing efforts of PeopleSoft developers and analysts.
• Provides ongoing day-to-day operational support for production applications.
• Oversees environment creation, database refreshes, change management, migration of objects/code, performance tuning, and production support.
• Analyzes issues with SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Process Schedulers, Application Servers, Application Messaging, and Web Servers.
• Develops, tunes, and debugs SQL statements within Query, Application Engine, and native SQL.
• Works with Infrastructure team members to build and deliver services.
• Provides quality formal and informal documentation consistent with organization standards.
• Implements and maintains application security.
• Patching (Java, Tuxedo, web logic) as per Oracle recommendations.
• Participates in a team approach to detecting and resolving database locks, run away processes, and printing issues to meet SLA commitments.
• Proactively monitors and supports the health, performance, and integrity of the databases systems.
• Establishes coding standards for SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and logical and physical schema design; and enforces them within the development staff.
• Disaster recovery support.
• Works closely with other technical staff to support and maintain the PeopleSoft system.
Requirements of the service:
• Considerable knowledge of PeopleSoft applications (financial modules).
• Considerable knowledge of PeopleSoft security development.
• Considerable skill in utilizing PeopleTools 8.60 or higher, PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 or higher, Process Scheduler, Application Server (Tuxedo), Web Server (Weblogic), Application Designer, Data Mover, Integration Broker, SQR, Crystal, Change Assistant, Upgrade Assistant.
• Considerable ability to set up PIA, servers, Integration Brokers, single sign-on, install SSL certificates, and apply Weblogic patches.
• Experience in SQL Server 2019 or higher.
• Considerable ability to tune App and web server configuration and debug App engines/SQRs, App Engines/SQRs/nVisions, workflow and PeopleSoft security.
• Strong analytical, proven solving and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with and direct remote teams.
• Capacity to adapt quickly to changes and learn in all circumstances.
• Team player and able to work collaboratively with others and leverage their skills.
• Innovative thinking.
• Problem solving skills.
It will be necessary to go to the office at least 1-2 times a week in Barcelona.
