Rate: 280-300€/day.

DESCRIPTION:

Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and control.

• Understanding of structured project management frameworks and governance models.

• Knowledge of risk, issue, dependency, and constraint management, including escalation practices.

• Familiarity with budget, scope, and resource management principles.

• Understanding complex, matrix organizations and cross-functional collaboration models.

• Awareness of regional and global project environments, including cultural and stakeholder diversity.

• Knowledge of documentation and reporting standards, including status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.

• General knowledge of HR processes and/or insurance or similarly regulated industries (preferred).

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent higher education.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully leading regional and global projects, preferably in insurance or similar industries.

• Demonstrated experience working in complex, international organizations with diverse stakeholders.

• Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a similar industry is preferred.

• Experience managing or supervising junior resources.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong conflict management and negotiation skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are considered a strong advantage.

Specific Expertise MANDATORY

• Proven ability to lead complex regional and global projects or initiatives within broader programs.

• Expertise in managing multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.

• Strong capability to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resourcing, and dependencies.

• Demonstrated experience in tracking progress against plans and ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to scope.

• Advanced skills in risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and escalation.

• Ability to apply and enforce consistent project management methodologies and best practices.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, working effectively with IT, Business, HR, and other functions.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, including preparation of senior management materials.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesis capabilities.

• Ability to work independently, showing high levels of proactivity, organization, and adaptability.

• Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and supervising junior project managers.

• Proficiency in project management tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.
